Why DZR brass for water-management parts?
Standard brass dezincifies in long-term water contact — zinc leaches out and leaves a porous copper sponge that eventually fails. DZR brass (CW724R) is specifically formulated to resist that mechanism, which is why it's the default for parts expected to last decades.
